Core Competencies

K-12 students throughout the province are required to goal set and self-assess their progress against the Provincial Core Competencies three times each year. Students and teachers are welcome to use the following link to sort and filter the Core Competencies to help students identify their skills and arrive at growth goals.

 

Students, please speak with anyone of your teacher regarding this requirement. They will assist you with setting a goal, as well as outline how to submit your self-assessments. If you have not yet set a goal, please do so immediately. Student reflections are required and due at the end of January 2024.
